Lilac City Decorators Logo
LCD Exposition Services began in 1969 as Lilac City Decorators. Founded by Chuck Pelan, the company initially offered pipe and drape, skirted tables, and miscellaneous equipment on a limited basis to small events housed in downtown Spokane hotels.

In 1974, Spokane hosted Expo '74 World's Fair, which provided a springboard to the company's ongoing growth. Currently, we provide services to nearly twenty cities and towns in over thirty different facilities. In 1997, ownership of the corporation was transferred to its principal officers, Ken Quimby and Barbara Lockard. This chang signalled a new direction for Lilac City Decorators, and in recognition of the expansion of services also adopted at that time, the company name was changed to LCD Exposition Services.
